Services

We’re pleased to offer the following services at Cottonwood Veterinary Clinic & Cottonwood Small Animal Clinic.

  • Small Animal Clinic Accepts Walk-ins Monday through Saturday. Monday through Friday we have a virtual “Waitlist” that you can join via our website at www.cottonwoodvetclinic.com. Wait in the comfort of your own home and then be texted when we are ready for you and your pet to come into the clinic. Thank you!
  • Large Animal Clinic Appointment is required Monday through Friday.
  • Emergency & Urgent Care.

We have veterinarians and personnel on duty 7 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your animal has. If you ever feel that your animal needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call immediately.

We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarians will work to “squeeze” you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.

The next in a series of storms is approaching Northern California today and most of us will feel its impacts late tonight into early tomorrow morning. Snow levels will initially be above 7,000 to 8,000 feet as the warmer part of the storm moves through. The Atmospheric River is pointed to our north but will slowly shift to the south transporting healthy amounts of moisture/rain into Northern California. The winds will also be strong with gusts in the 35 to 45 mph range and potentially higher on the exposed mountain ridges. With steady moderate to heavy rain coupled with an already saturated ground there will be the potential for some localized flooding in low-lying areas, rises in creeks and streams and possible mudslides and debris flows. Once the cold front passes we will then be under the influence of cool and unstable air keeping our chances for scattered showers and possible thunderstorms through the day on Tuesday. Snow levels will also drop to as low s 4,000 to 4,500 feet and could cause delays with the potential for chain requirements mainly east of I-5 on the higher mountain passes. Keep checking in with Weather NorCal for the latest on this storm and the others to follow later this week from the FREE Weather NorCal App and the 24 hour streaming channel available on YouTube, Roku and Amazon Firestick (just search for Weather NorCal).Image attachmentImage attachment
