The next storm is taking its time getting here with the heaviest rain expected overnight tonight when most of us are in bed. Steady moderate to heavy rain will continue into the early morning hours on Tuesday and with an already saturated ground there could be the potential for mudslides and debris flows along with rises in creeks and streams and maybe even some localized flooding in low-lying areas. Oh, and don't be surprised if you hear a rumble of thunder especially for the North Coast and the Valley.
