Clear and cool to start the day with plenty of sunshine this afternoon and highs slightly above normal for this time of year.
The winds will be calmer across the board today through Saturday before we see them pick back up again this weekend into your Martin Luther King Junior Day.
We’re not expecting wind advisory criteria but we could see gusts in the 20 to 30 mph range especially for the foothills and mountains east of the valley.
Temperatures are expected to drop slightly as we go into the weekend with highs in the upper 50’s in the valley before we once again see them go back up into the low 60s by the middle of next week.
The long rage forecast models are hinting at the potential for some wet weather as we go into the last week of January but nothing set in stone just yet.
