The next storm is taking its time getting here with the heaviest rain expected overnight tonight when most of us are in bed. Steady moderate to heavy rain will continue into the early morning hours on Tuesday and with an already saturated ground there could be the potential for mudslides and debris flows along with rises in creeks and streams and maybe even some localized flooding in low-lying areas. Happy Monday morning! Overcast, low clouds and drizzle this morning in many areas across NorCal this morning. The next round of rain is slowly moving closer but the bulk of it will be on the North Coast this afternoon. Much heavier rain across the board overnight into early Tuesday morning.
